Certification
Certification
There are many benefits to certification,
both to the software vendor and to companies that use its
products. First, certification programs reduce expenses.
Several studies over the past five years have shown
that certified staff make fewer errors, incur lower support
costs and are typically more productive than their non-certified
peers. Second, certification
programs generate income by opening new marketing channels
and encouraging repeat customers.
Employers increasingly see the need to use certification
as a convenient way to validate the competence of IT professionals.
These companies typically prefer to hire individuals
with certifications to prove that they have the expertise
to develop and support a particular technology.
In order to capitalize on the revenue and
cost savings opportunities made available with certification
programs, software vendors must dedicate resources to continually
update existing certification exams to support product updates
and create certification exams for new product releases.
This is where Learning Voyage can help!
Learning Voyage has history of developing
test items for many of its partners’ certification exams.
Several Learning Voyage instructors received training
in developing certification test items from Galton Technologies
and therefore understand the complexities of test item development
work. Learning Voyage
instructors also have the capability to assess student performance
after taking a certification exam to ensure they receive accurate
and timely feedback on their performance.
If you are considering adding a certification
program or are looking for help updating and/or assessing
your current certification program, please contact sales@learningvoyage.com
to find out more about Learning Voyage’s capabilities in this
area.
