Voyage Selected To Present At The JavaOne Developer Conference
Learning Voyage was been selected to be a presenter at
the JavaOne Developer Conference being held from June 6-9,
2000 at San Francisco's Moscone Center. The JavaOne Developer
Conference is the premier gathering for developers and business
users who are interested in the latest advances in and application
for the Java programming language.
Learning
Voyage's expert knowledge of Java and other distributed computing
technologies made it a natural choice for presenting at the
prestigious conference. Learning Voyage Senior Instructor
David Chung presented a Birds-Of-A-Feather session on the
"Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition" (J2ME). David specializes
in developing hands-on course materials and teaching object-oriented
technologies such as Java and C++.
Chung
has written on Java-related topics for Maximum Java, Java
Unleashed and Tips of the Java Programming Gurus, and is also
in the process of writing a comprehensive book on WebLogic
Server, the market leading application server from BEA Systems.
He is the co-founder and chairman of the steering committee
for the "380jug" -- the Eastern Iowa Java User's Group.
