Job Description

Our Instructors typically teach at our e-business partner's training facilities, or more commonly, at their customers' locations. Classes usually run Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. When not on the road, Instructors enjoy the flexibility of working from their homes to pursue other projects such as mentoring, courseware development, speaking engagements, and writing articles.

Qualifications

We're looking for IT professionals who relish the challenge of mastering new Internet and e-business software technologies and enjoy sharing their knowledge with other developers. Here's an overview of the experience and skills we look for in our Instructor candidates.

Required Experience

• 2+ years Java development

Desired Experience

• Application server development (WebLogic, WebSphere, iPlanet, Dynamo)
  
  
• Previous technology training, mentoring, course development a big plus
  
  
• Experience with open-source platforms such as Linux

Required Skills

• Proven development skills with C++ and Java
  
  
• EJB, XML, JSPs, Servlets, J2EE Web Applications
  
  
• Excellent presentation and communication skills

Desired Skills

• Development with other distributed object technologies such as CORBA, UML



• Understanding of workflow, B2Bi, and Web Services
